There wasn't anything that wasn't catered for we will be returning to Willsbrook lodge in the future. " Would highly recommend Willsbrook Lodge, it's cosy and comfortable, with excellent local pub/restaurant, and will be telling friends & family about it. " Mrs S, Bedford, Bedfordshire, 28th Feb 2011
" A perfect long weekend break, would be ideal at any time of year. The attention to detail at Willsbrook Lodge is excellent, the decor and furnishings are stylish and tasteful. We were made to feel very welcome by Andrea and Martin, who are the most thoughtful of hosts. Would have loved to have stayed longer to explore the area further and sleep in the wonderfully comfortable bed for a few more nights! Raglan Castle is an easy walk away and well worth a visit, especially at sunset. Would definately return, may be in the summer next time so we could try out the pool. " Mrs D, Mold, Clwyd, 26th Nov 2010
" Andrea and Martin have built, designed and furnished this lodge to a very high standard and it made a superb getaway for a week. They were perfect hosts making you feel very welcome...the bottle of wine on the first night after a long drive from London was a very nice touch! It's situated in a great location for getting out and exploring the wonderful Welsh countryside and there are a surprisingly large number of really good restuarants nearby (The Crown at Whitebrook was our favourite). In the evenings the log fire hit the mark every night. Would highly recommend this place to any couple. " Mr K, Wimbledon, London, 12th Nov 2010
" Myself and my fiance stayed at this cottage a couple of weeks ago, and we were lucky enough to be the first to experience the first class accommodation and hospitality of the owners Andea and Martin (and not forgeting Henri the dog). We have stayed in the area before and find it is very well situated for days out while still being in a quiet village location. The village of Raglan has a good butchers just across the road from the cottage, also 'the Beaufort'is an excellent restaurant, we ate there during the week. If you are a fan of a good steak it is a definite must, also the villagers and landlord always offer a warm welcome (the duck is also very good). During our visit we visited Tintern, which is a lovely small village on the river, Tintern Abbey is also well worth a walk round. Being animal lovers we made a visit to Bristol zoo, and also to Noahs Ark Farm Park, both of which are over the bridge, so it costs on the return journey, but it is a nice drive. Bristol also has the Clifton suspension bridge which you can pass over on the way back. A visit to the International Bird of Prey Centre is a good day out, we got to see various demonstrations throughout the day, they do vary the birds they use, so it isn't just watching the same thing over and over again. We also visited Chepstow and Abergavenney, there is a nice cupcake shop in Abergavenney which sell very nice cakes! Finaly, the best part of the stay was the comfort and luxury we experienced in the cottage, we could have just hybernated in there for the week! It was a real pleasure, thank you again to Andrea and Martin. " Miss W, LOUGHBOROUGH, Leicestershire, 8th Oct 2010
